In the year 2487, on the newly founded colony of Sargas IV a mysterious object was found buried deep inside a hill. For over three hundred years the knowledge of the Stargates was lost to man due to the raveges of World War III. Now that two gates have been found- one on Earth and the other on Sargas IV, it is time to relearn all that was lost and once again go boldly where no one has gone before.
Stargate: Sargas IV is a forum based simm which takes place in the 25th century. It is also a part of the Columbia Fleet Division of the United Temporal Federation of Planets.

Our missions will vary from peaceful exploration and discovery to battling evil wherever we may find it. All of these aspects are what make up a good role-playing Game.
Mission Twelve: "Eclipse" The Marines of the SGC head to planet PL20 where the
routine mission quickly turns into a fight for survival. Unbeknownst to
them, when they arrived, the planet is about to experience a total solar
eclipse that will last a week. As soon as the darkness begins to
descend, hordes of ravenous nocturnal creatures swoop out of the
darkness and attack the teams. The Marines attempt to retreat only to
find the DHD is rigged to a solar generator and will only work when the
sun returns.
