A science teams retrieves a small piece of strange space debris. All initial testing reveals little other than a very strange and mysterious origin. Not long thereafter, communication between one crewmember and another becomes totally impossible. When someone speaks to each other, no one understands, in spite of the universal translators working perfectly. This nightmare quickly spreads and conditions deteriorate. Can the solution be found in time before the last soul on the base cannot understand how to do anything?
